Deco Paci Care Instructions

It's important that you remember that these pacifiers are handmade and must be treated with care.

Wash the nipple and back of the shield before first use and after each use. To clean, wipe the nipple and back of the shield with a baby wipe or a damp paper towel with a small amount of antibacterial soap. If possible, avoid running the teat under running water (especially don't submerge it) as water can get on the inside and bacteria and mold will start to grow. Do NOT wash or wet the centerpiece or front of the shield as embellishments will likely loosen and being to fall off. Do not wash in the dishwasher!

If the teat starts to wear, you can replace that piece inexpensively.

Do not expose to direct sunlight for extended periods of time, otherwise colors may dull and the glue can loosen.

Store carefully in a safe place so embellishments don't get knocked or rubbed off. As time goes on and the pacifier is exposed to temperature changes and handling, some embellishments are likely to come off, as is the nature of hand decorated pacifiers. If that occurs, you can just glue those pieces back on.

Do not expose to extreme temperatures. Temperatures that are too hot or too cold are especially harmful to the glue and will cause it to loosen and then beads will fall off. Make sure to keep the pacifier at room temperature to the best of your ability
